Kent earned his Master’s Degree in counseling and psychotherapy. He is a fully licensed Mental Health Provider and is certified as a Professional Counselor. Kent currently has an active private psychotherapy practice at Apex Psychotherapy in the Trade Center at 5900 S. 58th Street, Suite H in Lincoln, Nebraska. 
 
    Kent is a Lincoln native of 45 years, and has raised his family here. Many of those years were spent raising his five sons, which gave him valuable real life experience in dealing with divorce, single parenting, economic hardships and the challenges of successfully developing healthy relationships while maintaining good self-esteem.
